CONDITIONS OF ENTRY Music:All candidates’ music must be provided on CD and clearly marked with the candidates name and title of the Variation. Seperate new CD’s must be used for each Variation and the chosen music (and only that music) be recorded on that CD. (IMPORTANT - The Australian Institute of Classical Dance will not accept any responsibity nor make any payment for choreography or music under copyright. Candidates choosing to perform copyrighted material must obtain written permission from the copyright holders and pay any related performance fees / royalties. Direct copies of the Mc Donald’s Ballet Scholarship CD is NOT permitted). Class Attire:For class, all female candidates should wear a leotard and pink tights & bring ballet flats & pointe shoes. All male candidates should wear tights & t - shirt or unitard with ballet flats. Assessment: The Adjudicators will assess each candidate on classical ballet class work as well as the solo performance. The decision of the Adjudicators will be final. No correspondance can be entered into regarding their decision. Entry Fees:The entry fee for participation in the AICD International Ballet Awards 2005 are as follows Non Members: $60.00 AICD Members (Individual): $50.00 (See application form for students membership $20.00). Please note that entry fees will not be refunded except in the event of the AICD International Ballet Awards 2005 being cancelled.
